Peter Cullen (1943 to 2008) and his grandson JoshuaPeter Cullen born May 1943 died March 2008 was an amazing encourager of his wife and all who came into his orbit. His passion for life, water and the environment was infectious. Josie ForestierThe world of words has enabled Jo to share her heart and her feelings on so many aspects of her life. English is her second language after Italian as she migrated from Alicudi (Italy) and yet she helped children with writing most of her career in education. Jennifer WarrenA former nurse who trained at Royal Canberra Hospital, Jenni studied Writing for Publication at the Phillip TAFE College in Canberra. In collaboration with Janet Newman she co-wrote 'Royal Canberra Hospital - An Annecdotal History of Nursing.' Jenni has written many poems and articles that have been published with some winning awards. As a member of the Canberra Fellowship of Australian Writers she has served in many roles since the 1980's and resigned as the president last year after many years of service. Today she remains an active writer and member of the Fellowship of Australian Writers ACT & Region Branch. In 2022 her last duty was president was to launch the School Days Anthology at Canberra University in 2022 - she was co-editor of this book with Michael Moloney.

Margaret MaggiA long term resident of Canberra who has now relocated to Queensland at the age of 95, Margaret would not describe herself as a writer but is a woman of prayer and contemplation who quietly cares for people in her own way. In front of her former home in Euree St is a bower of foliage that covers the footpath and provides shelter for those who pass under it. After her husband Paul died, she and her neighbour applied for permission to build a pergola to hold it up off the footpath so it could be maintained. Permission was granted. The story of the bower over the footpath is the reason her story is in this anthology at the editors request.

Keith BrodieWhen Keith reached his mid fifties he decided it was time he learned to read an write so he went to TAFE and learned to do just that. He won an Highly Commended award for his work. When he asked what he should write he was advised to write about his life. Samples of his work are included in the 2022 Anthology so a record of his achievement is part of the national record on TROVE. He writes like he talks and is a gifted raconteur. The editor was given access to his unpublished books to make a selection for the 2022 CCWG Anthology.

Dane McCormackDane McCormack is an Author and former member of ACT and Region Branch of The Fellowship of Australian Writers NSW Inc.
